Rainbow Leung is a marine conservationist and Hub Leader of SOA Hong Kong, currently pursuing her PhD at the Swire Institute of Marine Science at the University of Hong Kong. Her research and outreach focus on coastal conservation and restoration, environmental education, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong emphasis on climate resilience and sustainable solutions. Growing up with strong family ties to Hong Kong's fishing communities, Rainbow has developed a deep commitment to reconnecting people with nature. She brings an interdisciplinary background spanning science, policy, and the social sciences, with experience across a range of sectors in Hong Kong and beyond. Alongside her academic work, Rainbow contributes to local and international climate and sustainability initiatives, supporting collaborative and innovative approaches to marine conservation and community resilience.
